Final resolution to the App Errors

Today, our development team pushed an update that corrected the root cause of the system performance from Monday, February 4th. We’ve been monitoring the database and feel confident that this incident has been resolved.

The timeouts from the 4th were related to the previous system performance issues experienced earlier in January. Since the issues first started in January we’ve implemented several enhancements that resolved a number of performance bottlenecks, but we continued to see excessive idle connections in our database. After the disruption on Monday the 4th, we were able to identify the 3rd party code library that was causing the issue. We adjusted our implementation, tested, pushed to production and monitored the database and confirmed the idle connections are no longer being generated.
